How to use PlayStation PSN Gift Cards

PlayStation Network (PSN) Gift Cards are a convenient way to add funds to your PlayStation Network account, allowing you to purchase games, downloadable content, subscriptions, and other digital items from the PlayStation Store. Here's how you can use a PSN Gift Card:

1. **Purchase a PSN Gift Card**: You can buy PSN Gift Cards from various retailers, both online and physical stores. They come in different denominations, such as £10, £20, £50, etc.

2. **Scratch off the Code**: If you have a physical gift card, gently scratch off the silver coating on the back of the card to reveal the 12-digit redemption code.

3. **Redeem on PlayStation Console**:

   - Turn on your PlayStation console.

   - Log in to your PlayStation Network account.

   - Scroll to the PlayStation Store icon on the main menu and select it.

   - Once in the PlayStation Store, scroll down and select "Redeem Codes."

   - Enter the 12-digit code exactly as it appears on the gift card.

   - Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the redemption process.

4. **Redeem on PlayStation Website**:

   - Visit the PlayStation Store website and log in to your PlayStation Network account.

   - Click on your account name at the top of the page and select "Redeem Codes" from the dropdown menu.

   - Enter the 12-digit code and follow the instructions to redeem the card.

5. **Funds Added to Account**: Once you've successfully redeemed the code, the gift card's value will be added to your PlayStation Network account as wallet funds.

6. **Shop in PlayStation Store**: You can now use the added funds to purchase games, DLC, in-game items, movies, TV shows, and other content from the PlayStation Store. When making a purchase, you'll have the option to use your wallet funds as a payment method.

Remember that PSN Gift Cards are region-specific, so make sure you're using a gift card that corresponds to the same region as your PlayStation Network account. Additionally, be cautious when purchasing gift cards from third-party sellers to avoid scams or fraud. It's safer to buy gift cards directly from reputable retailers or the official PlayStation Store.
